Stone paths lead you into a garden filled with mature trees, ancient artifacts and thoughtful plantings. The garden is quiet, calm and peaceful. Through a covered walkway hung with lanterns, you enter our gallery. Welcome. Let us show you around.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2979\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pagodared.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/PagodaRed_Entry.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Greeting Guests with Good Wishes<\/h2>\n<p>Inspired by classical Asian gardens but designed with a modern sensibility, our entrance uses lattice screens to separate space while preserving views and allowing sunlight to filter through. In Chinese design, courtyards are the literal and figural heart of a space. Ours is adorned with <a href=\"https:\/\/pagodared.com\/t\/accessories-garden-stones\">scholar\u2019s rocks<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagodared.com\/t\/accessories-garden-planters-and-ponds\">ceramic vessels<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagodared.com\/t\/accessories-garden-architectural-features\">stone markers<\/a> that represent prosperity and harmony. An international gallery, we represent talent from the United States, China, Japan, Israel, Spain and many other countries. In Chinese design, color corresponds to metal, fire, water, wood and air. Harmony requires integrating the elements. Here, a <a href=\"https:\/\/pagodared.com\/items\/fisherman-float?s%5Bq%5D=fisherman\">green glass fisherman\u2019s float<\/a> (c. 1900) becomes a luminous sculptural sphere, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/pagodared.com\/t\/furniture-seating-benches\">carved bench<\/a> from the Qing Dynasty (c. 1850) has just-the-right proportions for a modern entryway or hall. Indoors, we use the same principals \u2014 and sometimes the same materials \u2014 as we do in the garden. A lattice screen, created from <a href=\"https:\/\/pagodared.com\/items\/vintage-roof-tiles?s%5Bq%5D=roof+tiles\">vintage roof tiles<\/a>, allows light to enter the corner of a washroom while preserving privacy.
