Photography by Jacob Snavely.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ramchandani cultivated her talent for editing under the mentorship of designer and author\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pagodared.com\/blog\/2016\/09\/29\/vicente-wolf-elements-style-part\/\">Vicente Wolf<\/a>. While working for him over five years, she learned to strip a space down to its essence without sacrificing warmth or soul. &#8220;He\u00a0taught me the importance of trusting my\u00a0instincts,&#8221; she says. Her intuition led Ramchandani to start her own firm in 2014. &#8220;I gained so much knowledge, confidence and experience. Her palette frequently includes stone, wood, leather, and mixed metals.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Stone is one of my favorite natural materials, mostly due to the variety of options available. Instead of integrating color trends, she focuses on the holistic palette of a home.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When it comes to color, I typically introduce it in an all-encompassing way, using it as a tool to create a feeling, set the mood, or enhance a specific environment. Photography by Jacob Snavely.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Although travel inspires Ramchandani, she rarely brings home souvenirs, preferring instead to collect ideas and inspiration. &#8220;I travel quite a bit,&#8221; she says, &#8220;and I never check my bags!&#8221; Instead of picking up trinkets, she advocates for collecting in &#8220;small but meaningful ways to add impact and minimize clutter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>While in Helsinki, I toured the Iittala factory, and learned the history of the brand, how the brand is valued throughout the country of Finland and deep-rooted in the local community. I also fell deeply in love with their designs, which are often overlooked in the United States.
