Dated to the early 20th century, this antique turned newel post was crafted from American oak with a simple ball finial top. The original dark finish has faded along the round post to reveal the natural texture of the oak with a subtle gradient. Set on a custom steel mount, the turned post becomes a rustic sculptural object.
