Created by an artisan in Shanghai, this beautiful necklace is strung with round jasper beads ending in a silver Tibetan charm bearing a shou symbol of longevity. The central pendant is an early 20th-century jade disc etched with abstract patterns. Likely once looped over robe fastenings as a protective charm, jade ornaments such as this were thought to imbue a person with a clear mind, and to guard against evil spirits or illness.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
