Extracting images, logos and slogans from popular culture, Almudena Rodriguez rearranges these disparate signs on hand-sewn fabrics in an attempt to map out a single vision determined not by original context but through aesthetic thought. Textured with braille writing and embroidery, Rodriquez attempts to provide a sensory roadmap for a society blinded by in a world composed of disjointed messaging.

Aniline, transfer, ink, and embroidery thread on paper. Framed.
