This elegant side table dates to the late 19th century and would have been used for serving tea, burning incense, or displaying flowers and sculpture. Constructed with mortise-and-tenon joinery, the square-corner table features a floating panel top, straight legs ending in hoof feet, and a single shelf for additional storage. The top is framed by fretwork aprons, finely carved with a graceful scrollwork design. A dark brown finish accentuates the table's refined form.
