This 19th-century wine jar is cloaked inside and out with a rich, dark brown glaze that sheets across its rounded form, lingering beautifully on every imperfection. The jar's sculptural shape is known as a yuhuchunping or pear-shaped vase, defined by a globular body, narrow neck, and flared mouth. Originally used for warming and pouring wine, the petite jar is wonderful as home accent or a bud vase for a single flower.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
