Folk Bamboo Vase

Defined by its rounded body and high shoulders, this vase takes on the time-honored form of the Chinese baluster jar. Cloaked in a milky white glaze, the vase was then painted with a pattern of bamboo branches, gracefully arching along the vase's curves to call out its sculptural form.
