This late 19th-century storage coffer balances a streamlined silhouette with textured, wabi-sabi materials. Created in the style of Mongolian trunks, the two-door sideboard was originally configured to open from the top and has been modified with front-facing doors that open to a continuous interior with a single shelf. A scalloped apron encloses each door, carved with a simple botanical motif and affixed with iron door pulls. Ideal today as a sideboard or credenza, the square corner cabinet has a soft, timeworn finish with light brown color and an aged patina.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
