This early 20th century low table would have been part of the furnishings in traditional sleeping quarters. Beneath the drawers is a carved, continuous beaded apron and the legs end in a simple and elegant scrolled foot. The hand-forged brass hardware is original and the black lacquer finish has aged beautifully over time. Originally used against the wall; back is unfinished.
