This cabinet stands square and proud with a rich, well-preserved black lacquer finish and traces of its original gilt decoration. From the remaining traces of its paintings, we can see motifs of the eight treasures of the Taoist scholar, which celebrates study and success in Chinese culture. The cabinet is masterfully built with a mitered body frame.

“I am particularly fond of PAGODA RED as we have known the family for so long. Betsy is a professional in every way and her intelligent taste comes from a long line of family knowledge in the arts. She and her team are the very best to work with and we find treasures with every visit!”
