A dark glaze coats the rounded form of this squat kitchen vessel, cloaking the exterior with a glossy shine. The early 20th-century jar was once used for storing food in a Qing-dynasty kitchen, as evidenced by its interior glaze. Dotted with imperfections, the lustrous dark glaze gives this pantry jar a glassy appearance, contrasted by the unfinished base and lip. We love this vessel as a decorative jar or a tabletop planter.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
