Four Door Ink Coffer

This rustic storage coffer from the early 20th century balances a streamlined silhouette with textured, wabi-sabi materials. Crafted of pine with traditional joinery, the four-door sideboard was originally configured to open from the top and has been modified with front-facing doors that open to two compartments with an interior shelf. A simple apron encloses each door, carved with smooth contours and affixed with brass ring pulls. Ideal today as a sideboard or credenza, the square corner cabinet has been darkened to an inky, brown-black finish with subtle color variance and timeworn texture.
