Heartwood Bowl

This wooden bowl was turned from a solid block of heartwood, the dense, innermost portion of a tree. The vessel has a rounded body, shaped with a tapered base, a shallow interior and a textured live edge along the opening. Sculpted to preserve any burls, knots, and other irregularities in the wood, the bowl has an organic modern form that blends effortlessly into any interior.
