Heartwood Bowl

This wooden bowl was turned from a solid block of heartwood, the dense, innermost portion of a tree. The vessel has a rounded body, shaped with a tapered base, shallow interior and slightly flared lip. Finely sculpted to preserve any burls, knots, and other irregularities in the wood, the bowl naturally boasts an organic modern form.
