This table was carved by hand over 400 years ago in China’s Hubei Province out of a single block of limestone. Its carved aprons have interlocking rings, and “incense stick” legs, which make the stone table feel almost light. The stone has oxidized with age and gained a beautiful patina. In a classic Chinese garden, stone furniture was treated more as an architectural element than simple pieces of furniture. This is a rare and excellent example.

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
