Miniature Noodle Cabinet

A full size cabinet with this level of workmanship would be an incredible find, but this beautiful piece of furniture—at only nine inches tall—is perfectly constructed down to the tiniest minutia. The cabinet was made in Northern China out of Huanghuali, a wood prized by furniture makers for its distinctive grain and incredible strength. The joinery techniques, hardware and clean, modern lines all impeccably reflect the best Chinese furniture design.
