Set of Three Painted Lucky Fish

Hand-carved from reclaimed wood, these rustic koi sculptures recreate early 20th-century Chinese folk art designs. Each fish is carved with a squat, rounded body and painted with a colorful palette of blues, purples, and yellows. Common motifs in Chinese art, fish are emblems of harmony, wealth, and luck, and Buddhist symbols of "freedom from all restraints."
