A dark glaze coats the body of this squat kitchen vessel, pooling at the angular shoulders. The petite early 20th-century dish was once used for storing food in a Qing-dynasty kitchen, as evidenced by its interior glaze. Dotted with imperfections, the lustrous dark glaze gives this pantry jar a glassy appearance, contrasted by the unfinished base and lip. We love this petite vessel as a tabletop planter for a succulent or a single orchid.

“I am particularly fond of PAGODA RED as we have known the family for so long. Betsy is a professional in every way and her intelligent taste comes from a long line of family knowledge in the arts. She and her team are the very best to work with and we find treasures with every visit!”
