With no stretchers or spandrels, this elegantly simple table forms one beautiful, continuous ribbon. Crafted in China's Shanxi province in the mid-19th century, the petite table's clean lines are adorned only by gently scrolled feet and a layer of dark lacquer. This table would have originally been placed atop a platform kang bed and used as a convenient working surface for painting, writing, sewing, or arranging food. Today, its minimalist form fits effortlessly in the modern home as a low side table or display stand.

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
