With no stretchers or spandrels, this elegant console table flows as one continuous ribbon, rounding the bend with waterfall sides and scrolled feet. Concealed mortise-and-tenon joinery and an even, dark lacquer finish further enhance the narrow table's minimalist appeal. Slender console tables such as this were traditionally used to display precious objects or as a surface for playing the qin, an ancient stringed instrument.
