This petite display table dates to the late 19th century was originally used to elevate incense burners or decorative objects. Hand-carved of fine huali rosewood, the pedestal has a round, waisted top and five cabriole legs resting on a circular base stretcher. The apron is densely carved with floral scrollwork that flows onto the top of each curving leg. A lovely example of a traditional form, this round display stand remains a fantastic way to elevate a potted plant or prized ceramic.
