This sculptural stone object may have originated as a rustic column base for a tall courtyard entryway, or perhaps as the plinth for carved stone statue. The low stone table dates to the mid-19th century and was chiseled by hand from a solid block of limestone with an rounded silhouette and an irregular, timeworn texture. An essential element of the traditional Chinese garden, stone forms such as this elevate their surroundings with a sense of permanence, strength and quiet beauty.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
