In this beautifully detailed Thangka, the central figure of Amitayus is rendered in a brilliant shade of red pigment & is shown cradling a jar filled with the elixir of immortality. This sacred Thangka retains its original silk brocade frame, is mounted on linen and framed in darkened walnut.
