The front of this 19th-century Tibetan cabinet is beautifully painted with an allover pattern of flower blossoms and leaves. Brushed in a dark palette of green, gold and red-orange pigments, the floral design is simple yet effective, filling each panel with botanical flourishes and shaded to create depth of color. The colorful chest has a low stature ideal as a coffee table or nightstand and opens to a spacious interior by the front right panel, configured as a sliding door.
