Vintage Naboika Pillow

Made by a Chicago artist who collects vintage textiles, this handcrafted pillow features broad swatches of vintage block print Russian cotton. Known as "naboika," such block printed fabrics were made by carving intricate patterns into a wooden block, applying pigment, then pressing the raised design repeatedly onto a stretch of fabric. This lovely soft pink pillow is down filled and tastefully backed with linen.
