Expertly constructed with beautiful rosewood frames and frosted glass panels, these ornate hanging lanterns once diffused candlelight throughout a fine Qing-dynasty courtyard home. Each lantern has a hexagonal design, with six elongated glass panels framed by scrollwork carvings of twin dragons flanking the Shou (壽) symbol of longevity. Delicately carved round medallions within the outer frame resemble Chinese eternal coins, conveying a blessing of prosperity and success. A simple double gourd carving secures the lantern to a simple chain and flush mount.

Each lantern is hardwired with three sockets and in working condition.
