Pair of Blanc De Chine Figures of Guan Yin

Guan Yin is a bodhisattva who is sometimes called the Goddess of Mercy. This very fine and intricate pair of early 20th c. Blanc de Chine figures of the goddess are in impeccable condition given their age. This type of porcelain is made from special sugary white clay found in the Dehua region of China and is prized when glazed for its resemblance to the finest ivory
