This amulet box was made in Tibet over a century ago. Chances are that It once held a protective, religious relic or was used as a portable shrine. The body of this shrine has intricately detailed chasing (engraving). It is finely crafted out of brass, silver, and is adorned with coral—one of the “five sacred stones” of Tibetan Buddhists. This amulet is displayed to perfection on its custom, steel stand.
