Seated Stone Sakyamuni

Shakyamuni, or just “Buddha,” is the original Buddhist sage from whom all Buddhist teachings and traditions were born. Shakymuni is easily recognized by his head of tight curls. This seated Shakyamuni is carved from a single piece of stone. He has one hand raised, symbolizing protection.
