Tea Leaf Canister

This finely crafted tea canister may have once held the highest quality tea leaves grown in China’s highlands. In the early 1900s, when this canister was made, tea was still plucked and processed by hand. The best time to pick the buds and leaves was at dawn, before the morning dew was dry.
