An example of traditional blue-and-white ceramics, this early 19th-century bowl beautifully captures the timeless allure of cobalt blue on white porcelain. Cross-hatched brush strokes form a border along the rim of the bowl and a central calligraphic floral motif adorns the bowl's side. Delicate and rich in character, the bowl's glazed finish has aged with a fantastic crackle.
