This tall 19th century lock box, once used to keep it's owner's valuables safe, is now appreciated for its modern form and clean silhouette. Though this box was intended exclusively for safekeeping, thoughtful attention and an eye for detail inspired its maker to carve intricate beading on each panel to highlight its simple yet sophisticated shape. Excellent proportions, masterful mortise and tenon joinery and a round brass key plate finish it beautifully.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
