Vintage Fish Basket

Long ago, a basket like this one would have been a fairly common sight in rural China. An everyday item that would have been used until it became too worn, but this vintage fish basket is in remarkable condition. And so a century later the basket has become a lovely collector’s item. The wood and reeds have worn beautifully with time but remain intact: a testament to its maker’s skill.
