Wucai Fish Bowl

Traditional Chinese homes featured large ceramic fish ponds as both decoration and talisman of prosperity. The fish within combine with the aquatic motifs depicted on the exterior in "Wucai," or five color-ware, for a double dose of prosperity. Chinese culture views fish in water as symbols of harmony and good luck.
