A thin, dark glaze clings to the angular shoulders of this petite jar, dripping down the textured sides in rivulets of navy blue. Crafted in the late 19th century, this wide-mouth jar with strap handles was once used to ferment and store vinegar in a Qing-dynasty kitchen, as evidenced by its interior glaze. Exposed at the base and lip, the vessel's shimmering glaze exhibits a rich range of colors and catches the light beautifully.
