This monumental stone disc is actually a Qing-dynasty well head from China's Hebei province. Hand-carved from a solid block of granite, the ring has a highly textured surface of orderly furrows, similar to those found on a mill stone. The opposite side has been left in its natural state, with irregular texture and mottled coloring. One of the four essential elements of a balanced garden, stone sculptures such as this anchor their surroundings. This sculptural form elegantly frames a viewpoint. Set vertically on a custom steel mount, this simple architectural object is a singular outdoor statement, a piece of history to frame and elevate your garden.

Steel base is treated for outdoor use.
