Hand-carved from a single, solid block of wood, this Ethiopian stool retains a unique personality as a modern sculpture, seat, or table. The irregular strokes are telltale signs of this traditional woodcarving practice. Made of wood selected from the center of the tree, the seat displays wonderful ringed patterns. The cupped disc combines with the curved legs to add a sense of movement and lightness to counterbalance the solid, rich wood of this soulful object.

What They're Saying

Andrea Goldman | Andrea Goldman Design

“Over the years, I’ve incorporated many pieces from PAGODA RED into my designs. Not only can they balance new furnishings (and often new construction) by feeling more established, but the pieces emanate a sense of rich history, often leaving you wondering where they were in a previous life. These beautiful pieces carefully hand-selected by the team at PAGODA RED, coupled with their unbelievable customer service, make them a must-have for any home.”
