This low mirrored accent table is a fabulous example of the streamlined forms and bold materials that defined Art Deco furniture design. Dated to the 1930s, the low side table has a striking silhouette, with a rectangular mirror top overhanging a mirrored pedestal column, in turn supported by a curved wooden base finished in black lacquer. The contrast of silvery mirror glass and glossy black lacquer achieves a sleek, modern appearance that remains timeless, even after so many decades.

The antique mirrors on the pedestal column have oxidized with time for a spoiled glass look and the original mirror top has been lost and replaced with new mirror glass in a speckled antique finish.

From the collection of Frances and Gary Comer.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
