This well-proportioned birdcage is a feat of craftsmanship, carefully assembled of thin bamboo rods and held together by precise joinery and a bit of string. Two humpback perches run the length of the cage at the bottom, surmounted by three shorter perches textured with grit for added traction. Two porcelain dishes are mounted on the sides for water and birdseed, glazed in the blue-and-white style with floral decoration.

From the collection of Frances and Gary Comer.

Due to its fragility, this item is only available via white glove delivery or local pickup.

Porcelain water pots and other accessories will be packaged separately during shipping.

One water pot has repairs to the handle.
