Elevated on a wood base, this mesmerizing stone once resided in a scholar’s studio as a source of beauty and creative inspiration. Meditating on the stone’s intriguing, suggestive form, the scholar found inspiration in the textured surface as a microcosm of the universe. Prized for their density and dark gray tones, lingbi stones form with intriguing negative spaces and have a naturally polished look that accentuates the stone's expressive veining. We've likened this lingbi stone to a mythical qilin, an auspicious creature thought to bring luck and protection. Divine and peaceful creatures, qilin are believed to be benevolent protectors of those with good intentions.

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
