Charged with the humble task of pickling vegetables, this capacious earthenware jar is distinguished by its remarkable stamp pattern. Pressing a square stamp incised with a geometric pattern, the potter layered and staggered impressions to enliven the simply shaped vessel with visual rhythm and all-over texture. Smoke from the kiln contributes an ombre effect, transitioning gradually from charred brown to earthy terra cotta. Tucked alongside a hearth or filled with ferns in the garden, this large pickling pot is a wonderful addition to any space.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
