Created by Beijing-based artist Deng Ying exclusively for PAGODA RED, this limited edition hand-painted jar is one of a series playfully drawing on the Chinese tradition of blue-and-white porcelain. Fired at the historic Chinese imperial kilns of Jingdezhen, this petite jar is painted with three men engaged in qi gong exercises. A system of meditative movements and breathing exercises, qi gong is the practice of cultivating one's "qi," or life energy. This one-of-a-kind container is signed and presented in a hand-made cushioned wood presentation box.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
