This evocative work was made by renowned mosaic artist Toyoharu Kii out of an Italian marble called “perlino.” He has been exhibited at the Chartres Biennale in France, and trained in Tokyo and Italy. Kii explains his inspiration for this mosaic called "Wind Blew", “The air moves something for an instant and then it returns to place, as if nothing happened. We feel this silence as in the world of a Haiku; it is one of our aesthetics.”

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
