The quiet elegance of this small cabinet is thanks to its clean lines and balanced proportions. Dated to the late 19th century, this cabinet is designed to resemble the classic upright noodle cabinet, with a slight overhang, rounded edges, and two elongated doors. The cabinet is crafted of northern elm (yumu) and cloaked in a beautiful dark lacquer finish with warm undertones. Originally used to store books, scrolls, and other scholarly items, the cabinet fits beautifully into the modern home as a side table or nightstand.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
