This provincial collector's shelf from the early 20th century once stood in an office or home studio, displaying a curated collection of books, accessories, and precious objects. The low shelf is simply designed with six open compartments of varying sizes and two shallow drawers at the base, each fitted with a brass pull in the shape of a flower basket. Darkened by a red-brown lacquer finish, the shelf adds rich texture to modern interiors as a low bookcase or storage cabinet.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
