Ming Form Recessed Leg Table

This 18th-century recessed leg, solid-top table exudes the classic simplicity and proportions that have always pleased the discerning eyes of Chinese furniture connoisseurs. Assembled with masterful mortise-and-tenon joinery, the console table was then cloaked in a layer of lacquer, now beautifully aged from hundreds of years of loving use.
