A functional work of art, this petite altar coffer exemplifies extraordinary Chinese craftsmanship. The apron is finely carved with auspicious symbols and the top has everted edges that give the table a light and airy feel. It would have originally been used as storage in a woman's sleeping quarters. Our carpenters, skilled in traditional methods, have elongated the legs to make it more functional for today.
