This vintage rosewood side table was carved in Beijing with graceful proportions in the manner of Ming design. It features simple spandrels, square legs ending in hoof feet, and a marble top selected for its resemblance to a Chinese landscape painting. For centuries, Chinese scholars appreciated furniture and artwork that reflected the patterns found in nature.
