Scrolled Altar Console Table

With no stretchers or spandrels, this elegant early 20th-century altar table resembles one continuous ribbon. Carefully assembled with mortise-and-tenon joinery, the table's plank top surface ends in two scrolled edges, evoking the image of an unfurled calligraphy scroll.
